About the farm
Our farm is a poultry breeder farming project focused on the production of high-quality fertile eggs for the poultry industry. The proposed farm will consist of both rearing and laying facilities, allowing the birds to be managed throughout their production cycle.
The planned capacity is 3,000 birds per house, with dedicated houses for the rearing and laying stages. The rearing site will provide a controlled environment for young breeder birds until they reach the appropriate age for transfer to the laying houses. The laying site will be designed to support efficient egg production, collection, handling and storage.
The farm will incorporate environmentally friendly and sustainable poultry-house designs, with a focus on efficient water and energy use, good ventilation, effective waste management and improved biosecurity. We also intend to incorporate a hatchery component as the project develops, creating an integrated poultry operation.
The project will contribute to local food production, job creation and skills development while supporting sustainable agricultural practices. Our long-term vision is to establish a commercially viable breeder farm that can expand its production capacity and contribute to the broader poultry value chain.
