Real South African farm produce, promoted by people who share it — and a fair commission for doing it.
The Grower Affiliate Program connects two people: a farmer selling real produce through their Mzansi Farming Hub Store or marketplace listing, and an affiliate — anyone with an audience, a WhatsApp group, a blog, a social page, or just a network of people who buy fresh produce — who shares a personal link to that farmer's product. When someone buys through that link, the farmer makes a sale and the affiliate earns a commission.
It sits alongside two other things on this site that work differently and are worth telling apart:
🌾 Where things stand: the program is fully open end to end. Farmers can turn affiliate promotion on for individual products from their product list, affiliates can apply, browse eligible products and generate tracking links, and a qualifying sale now produces a real commission that moves from pending to payable to paid. Affiliate-side reporting is live too — see My Affiliates if you're an affiliate, or My Affiliate Sales and the Unified Earnings Centre if you're a farmer.
You choose which products can be promoted, and at what commission. Nothing is opted in without you.
Ready now — open My Products and use the 🔗 Affiliate settings link on any live listing.
Find products whose farmers have opted into the program, and get a personal tracking link with no manual setup.
Ready now — apply to become an affiliate, or log in if you've already applied.
An affiliate's link is tied to one product. When a buyer completes a qualifying purchase of that product through the link, a commission is recorded against that sale.
A pending commission isn't paid out immediately — it needs the sale itself to be confirmed first, the same way a farmer's own sale proceeds aren't released the instant an order is placed.
Once the sale is confirmed, the commission moves from pending to payable and joins the same review queue the site already uses for farmer payouts — so it's checked with the same care, not a separate, looser process.
Payable commissions are paid out on the same cycle as other marketplace payouts. Your My Affiliates dashboard shows pending, available and paid totals at all times, so there's never a mystery about where a commission stands.
What you are paid. Mzansi Farming Hub keeps 10% of each commission as a platform share. You are credited the remaining 90%, and that is the amount shown in your balance and paid out to you. The farmer pays the full commission; it costs the buyer nothing extra. To be paid, you add your bank account details once and an admin verifies them — you do not need a tax number to promote products, earn or be paid.
Every product promoted by an affiliate in written content on this site carries a clear disclosure that it's an affiliate link — that's not optional, and it's not hidden in fine print.
