Sponsorship Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

1. Sponsorship pricing

The current standard sponsorship prices are administrator-controlled and currently stand at R30.00 for 1 day, R185.00 for 7 days and R750.00 for 30 days. Prices may be changed by the administrator and the checkout price applicable at the time of purchase controls.

2. What a sponsorship buys

A sponsorship buys an approved placement or promotional opportunity for the stated period. Examples include a farm hotspot, shop placement, product placement or an approved video ad placement. It does not guarantee sales, leads, views, followers or a specific commercial result.

3. Slot inventory

Some placements are limited inventory. Once a sponsorship period is booked, overlapping bookings for the same limited slot are blocked. Abandoned or failed payments do not create a permanent reservation.

4. Direct sponsor-to-farmer communication

Sponsors may contact participating farmers directly. The platform may transmit a sponsor enquiry or provide a direct contact route, but it does not negotiate the sponsor's commercial agreement and does not guarantee that a farmer will accept or respond to a proposal.

5. Platform role

Mzansi Farming Hub provides the payment connection, listing/placement and technical tools. The underlying sponsorship relationship remains between sponsor and farmer or other advertiser unless the offer expressly states otherwise.

6. Platform fee

A 100.00% platform and processing fee is deducted from successful sponsorship payments. Gateway expenses are tracked separately. The site may show the remaining payable amount as an internal accounting figure; that does not guarantee a specific payout amount until the transaction is settled and any reversal or chargeback risk has cleared.

7. Farmer eligibility and payouts

Not every farmer is automatically eligible to receive platform payouts. The administrator may require payment details, verification and approval before a farmer can receive available funds. Eligible seller balances move through pending, available and paid states.

8. Disallowed sponsorships

Sponsored content must not be unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, fraudulent, unsafe, defamatory, infringing or designed to evade payment-provider rules. The platform may reject or remove a sponsorship.
