Refunds depend on what was purchased, whether the seller has fulfilled the transaction, the applicable consumer rights and the rules of the payment provider. A successful payment is not automatically irreversible, but a refund also does not automatically follow from a request without checking the transaction and applicable rights.
For products sold by independent farmers or sellers, the seller remains responsible for lawful returns, refunds, defective or misdescribed goods and delivery issues. Buyers should contact the seller promptly. Where a refund is approved, the platform records the refund against the original payment and the gateway processes it where supported.
Sponsorships are time-limited digital placements. A sponsor may cancel before activation where permitted by the offer. Once the placement has started, refunds depend on whether the paid service has already been delivered, any agreed cancellation terms and applicable law. A sponsor should not assume that non-response by a farmer automatically means a full refund if the purchased placement itself was already delivered.
Donations are treated separately from product purchases. A donation is voluntary and may be refundable only where required by law, where a payment was duplicated or made in error, or where the platform specifically approves a refund.
A product sale's locked 6.00% platform fee, and a sponsorship's administrator-configured 100.00% platform fee, are each allocated as a platform and processing fee. Where lawful and contractually disclosed, a refund may take account of non-recoverable gateway or transaction costs. Any actual provider refund fee is also recorded separately in the internal ledger.
Where a bank or payment provider opens a chargeback or reversal, the platform may place the related seller balance on hold, reverse pending amounts and request information from the buyer or seller. A chargeback is not the same as a normal refund.
Provide your payment reference, email address, reason and any supporting evidence through the site's support contact. Never send card CVV, PIN or online-banking passwords.
The farmer verification fee is not a product purchase. It is not paid back to the card. 50% of it is credited to the farmer's seller balance and held as described in the Farmer & Seller Policy; the other 50% is not refunded. Paying the fee does not guarantee approval. A fee that was charged twice or by mistake can be reviewed on request, as with donations.
